deb1I have lived in the Inland Northwest most of my life and grew up in the small town of Curlew, WA, about 130 miles north of Spokane. I have loved art and the way it allows me to express myself ever since I was a child.

My art is an expression of the things that matter to me. Who I am as a woman, where I have come from and who I am yet to be. In my art I wish to convey understanding, acceptance, forgiveness and freedom of expression. It is my hope that when people view my art they are touched, moved and inspired.

It has only been in the last few years that I have opened myself up as an artist.  What I have come to love about art the most is the process.  At a certain point during a project, I see it take on a life of its own.  I look forward to seeing how it will emerge as its own unique page from the book of my life.
